We have officially made it to our first fundraising goal and have $10, 000 committed to the Mural Project. We're now waiting to see the cheques in the mail.

The sketches are nearing completion for the mural project. We are putting together the final pieces for our granting proposals and if all goes as planned we will start to see action as soon as June.

Yesterday we had our first meeting as a mural committee. It was a productive meeting where we were able to meet Shawn Reimer, our muralist, and getting a better sense on what we are working with. Our next meeting will be on March 1.

We will be having our first mural committee meeting on February 15 at 3 p.m. at the Niagara Literacy Council. Looking forward to meeting with Shawn Reimer the mural artist who will be helping us with the project.
