Common Space was created to start converstation among Western Hill community members. Hoping to fill a need for better communication, Common Space is a useful tool for agencies, businesses, residents and land lords to interact and communicate their thoughts and suggestions regarding their community. Common Space is run and monitored by Western Hill's Community Animator, Suzanne Veenstra, an employee of the RAFT.
Common Space is an online initiative part of a bigger community development initiative taking place in the Western Hill community. With the goal of increasing and encouraging communications between community members, Common Space is a useful tool where community members can post their thoughts, comments and concerns about the place they live. With this interactive device, the community is not limited to physical interactions but can communicate at any time and in any place.
